Aia Software partners with TCP Lifesystems and announces first sale

Agreement to bring more effective document composition to the life, health and pensions insurance industry
TCP Lifesystems

London, July, 2009 - Aia Software, a leading author and developer of intelligent document composition software today announced it had signed a Letter of Intent with TCP Lifesystems. The partnership will see Aia’s ITP Document Platform integrated with the TCP’s Copernicus SS/G modular suite of software. Together they will bring more effective document composition solutions to the life, health and pensions insurance industry. The partnership has already yielded its first success with a leading insurance company currently implementing the ITP Document Platform.

Copernicus SS/G is a customer centric solution that allows insurance companies to select best of breed components for their business, allowing them to take control and react rapidly to market change by configuring the products accordingly.  By integrating the ITP Document Platform into SS/G, TCP’s ‘Self Serve’ Generation system, customers benefit from faster implementations and access to a predefined set of templates thus saving time and effort.  Customers also get access to the full functionality of a specialist document composition solution that has been designed to be managed by the business user and controlled by the IT department.

Christoffel Klimbie, Sales Director, Aia Software said, “TCP has an excellent reputation in the market for developing solutions that use the latest internet technology.  This partnership will enable their customers to take advantage of ITP’s advanced document composition functionality which empowers business users to take greater control of their documents using the familiar Microsoft Word environment to edit and adapt templates and documents.  This is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to a mutually prosperous working relationship.”

We wanted to add document generation  to our range of offerings in the life, health and pensions insurance industry.  There is a good fit between our respective platforms from a technology perspective as ITP also puts business users in control and allows them to self-serve, a key feature of SS/G.  We recognised the benefits of partnering with a specialist in this area rather than trying to develop our own system”, commented Matthew Clark, Managing Director, TCP Lifesystems, “The ITP platform is now our preferred solution for document composition which allows us to concentrate on developing our core product.

Klimbie concluded, “An added benefit of working with TCP is that, like us they are a Microsoft Gold Certified partner.  This ensured the integration between the two systems was completed in a matter of days allowing each company to focus on raising awareness and generating sales opportunities which is the key ingredient in making any partnership work.”
