Success story Amstel Lease |
Amstel Lease, part of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. improves business efficiency with ITP software from Aia
The Customer: Amstel Lease
Amstel Lease, a subsidiary of the ABN AMRO Bank, is one of the largest lease companies in the Netherlands. Amstel Lease offers various lease options such as: equipment lease (including financial lease), operational lease and vendor lease.
The decision: Need for output solution in a web environment to optimise their business
Amstel Lease was looking for a solution that would enable them to efficiently and reliably produce contracts and other documents from a new lease application (in a web environment). The new document application had to make sure that the contracts and the lease application form a seamless fit. Data from the iSeries as well as the Oracle environment should be used simultaneously, whereby this solution must offer optimal control of the entire process. This output solution must also make it possible to quickly and simply generate output in MS Word and PDF formats.
The solution: ITP integrates Oracle and iSeries application
Upfront, the web application developed by Amstel Lease enables them to enter data at one central location. This data is stored in both the Oracle lease application and the iSeries contract application. With Aia Software's ITP/Server, Amstel Lease is able to generate quotations in PDF format quickly and error-free, from our Upfront web application in a fully integrated manner. ITP retrieves the required data directly from the Oracle and iSeries databases. Using ITP, these contracts are made available in PDF, or, if modification is needed, in MS Word format.
The bottom line: What is the impact of the ITP software solution on the business of Amstel Lease?
Anton Wetering, manager Information management & Automation, explains: "The use of ITP has enabled us to have two applications work fully together with a single solution. This leads to lower management costs and a more flexible solution. In addition, ITP offers us the solution for the quick and faultless composition of all our business critical output, whereby the control of the entire process has been considerably improved."
