On January 11th Aia Software celebrated its 20th anniversary at Slot Doddendael in Ewijk. Some 320 (!) customers, employees and relatives joined in the festivities.
The key note of the day was: “Aia Software revealed”, during which the company’s past, present and future were celebrated. A very important aspect of this special day was that customers spoke about their experience of  Aia Software. »

The ‘VIP Application of the Year Awards’ took place on February 14th at Musis Sacrum in Arnhem . ABN AMRO Bank and Aia Software were nominated with their submission: ‘ABN AMRO Bank Optimises Credit Application Process with ITP’. Although we didn’t win a prize this year, nevertheless, it was a very successful evening! »

On Friday 11 January, Aia Software presented the Aia Software Awards for the fifth year in succession. The awards were conferred to students from Radboud University in Nijmegen for the best Information Technology theses. The award for the most outstanding Master thesis was presented to Erik Schierboom, author of 'Verification of Fiasco's IPC implementation'. The best Bachelor thesis was awarded to Martin van Goor, author of 'Genetic algorithms and parallelism'. »

Aia Software has developed a special solution for the management and creation of ITP model documents (super templates and their content) and associated reusable components, known as the ITP/MDK Repository. Many of our customers already use this toolset and it has become a key core component of the ITP Document Platform. Since its introduction, its functional scope has been significantly extended, so much so that it now warrants reappraisal. »

About 80% of model documents that are used in organisations are meant for correspondence purposes. With Qforms Aia Software introduces a technique that can reduce the development time for new model documents up to 75%. Aia Software’s successful ITP Document Platform - Correspondence Solution has been chosen by Welcium Mortgage Services, a 100% subsidiary of Welke Beheer. Welcium, a financial services company operating in the mortgage sector, now has a flexible platform – with ITP at its core – to create customized documents. ITP enhances document composition capabilities and also enables Welcium to generate documents for each ‘label’ in a chosen company style. »

On Tuesday December 11th, 2007 Aia Software hosted a home event as the main sponsor of the annual congress Elektronische Formulieren in Nijmegen. The main goal was to give a clear view of the latest developments and trends in digital internal and external communication and to inform about the latest possibilities, tools and techniques in software, e-business applications and services with regard to electronic forms and communication.

Leaseplan Corporation spoke as a customer of Aia Software about ‘Webforms: from downloading to complete electronic transaction’. During this presentation they spoke about their experiences with regards to Aia Software’s ITP Document Platform - populating, sending, processing and settlement of a web form electronically, including production of the related correspondence.

As a sponsor of the Herbalife-Merida Mountainbike team Aia Software concluded this inspiring day with the raffle of a professional mountain bike.

On Tuesday December 13th, 2007 Aia Software exhibited at the Internetverzekeren-event in the WTC, Rotterdam. Since in the future, Insurance may be transacted entirely via the internet, the competition will become even fiercer. The event, at this beautiful location, attended by managerial level delegates was focused on enhancing market service provision in this sector.

Delegates were informed about the latest developments in legislation as well as gained insight into best practices, and the attended presentations given by market leaders.

Tiny came from De Lage Landen Translease where he worked as a Functional Administrator for the past six years. In this position he carried out several tasks within functional management.
