Uniserv: interactive correspondence as an expansion of services
Uniserv is a professional outsourcing partner which enables clients to sell and administer all forms of life insurances, pensions, saving and investment products via the internet. For this Uniserv develop applications and services with which organisations can significantly improve their performance.
Uniserv Life is a standard software package for establishing and accounting of the complete policy lifecycle of life insurances. To be able to deliver a flexible correspondence solution linked to the Uniserv Life application, ITP from Aia Software was selected. This cooperation resulted in a "Letter book" based on ITP/OnLine Server. The letter book is an additional service that will be offered to Uniserv customers and consists of a number of often used letter models. These letters are designed with ITP and use the available customer data from the Uniserve Life database. Aia Software takes care of the creation of the letter book for Uniserv and the connection with the Uniserv Life application. Also the customer's connection onto the letter book can be arranged by Aia Software.
The first pilot project has already started with DBV Insurances, a customer that has been using the Uniserv application for quite some time now. DBV is a user of the Uniserv letter book and manages the text block library themselves. This makes DBV independent and flexible in case changes are need to be processed into the content of their letters. The business can react quickly to developments in the market by amending content themselves without having to rely on IT.
The composition of the company style of all DBV letters is made by Aia Software in a central location. When DBV plans to change the company style, or when Uniserv allows a customer access to their letter book: managing the company style becomes very organized due to it being stored and managed in just one place.
