Business user is able to manage the communication profiles

With ITP/Customer Correspondence Management (ITP/CCM) you can present your information in a way that matches the reader’s media usage and preferences. Delivering that information using a channel that best suits a particular customer builds confidence in the relationship and makes them reluctant to leave. It is essential to capture customers’ preferences and follow through in using them.

Therefore CRM data play an important role in output management. A link to your CRM system ensures a customer’s communication profile is used appropriately for each contact. Capturing all information in one profile and linking that to different output systems ensures delivery corresponds with each customer’s wishes.

This process must become business managed instead of an IT or mailroom process. The concept ‘Business owned, business managed, IT controlled’ empowers business users to manage the content of the documents by text blocks. Additionally the business user is able to manage the communication profiles: the rules and the preferences of the customer. By making the business more in control change cycles will be shorter which results in a shorter time to market.
By letting the business user create customer profiles he or she is able to adapt quicker to changing markets.
