ITP on the iPhone – Content management meets the New World of Work
Nowadays it is not uncommon for people to be spending less and less time at their desk on their computer. For many people most work and communication is conducted via their iphone where they are on the move. ITP has been developed to support this with ITP for mobile devices and is currently being further developed to allow for ITP’s content management to be available via this service.
The iPhone app we are currently working on is intended to enable quick correction or editing of text blocks, and approval and release for use. It will therefore explicitly not be a replacement of the regular ITP client – which will continue to be the pivotal solution for creating and managing documents and text blocks. The mobile applications are only a supplement to that client. Whenever needed, a text can be approved and published quickly, anytime and anywhere. This means users can save themselves a lot of time when correcting that one annoying little typo, an error in the offer letter, or changing a clause.
The ITP app is still under development, and will also have to be submitted to Apple for approval as soon as it's finished. We can therefore not announce an exact release date at this point.
