Aia Software ITP v4
It’s going to be an Indian summer: Aia Software ITP v4 is coming!
Business Owned, Business Managed, IT Controlled – that’s the focus of Aia Software’s ITP v4. Scheduled for release this upcoming quarter, the benefits available in this version will having you feeling that summer has been extended!
With an increase in the “developer free zone”, ITP v4 delivers businesses more flexibility to manage and create templates. This results in huge time savings. Successful organizations need to perform quickly and effectively. This puts pressure on business users as well as IT technical users. That’s why Aia Software has also enhanced the user interface for ITP/OnLine. Managing your document platform has never felt so easy.
Increasing the “developer free zone”
Until now, creating new document templates required extensive knowledge of the underlying data. The IT department was often involved in setting up templates and administrators from the business were focused on content primarily. But the business user also knows the requirements of the document template itself better than anyone else.
In ITP 4 the data structure is defined in an IT controlled environment, reducing the manual IT work. The data are then presented to business users in a user friendly and non-technical way so they can easily and quickly set up new templates. This results in reduced chance of failures, a more business managed workflow and less time needed for the IT staff to manage document templates. In short: with regards to template development with ITP, the developer free zone has been increased!
Shiny new User Interface for ITP/OnLine Server
The graphical user interface of an application is the first thing a business end-user encounters. The new UI for ITP/OnLine Server enlarges the usability and ease of work of end-users who produce letters, proposals, contracts and other documents every day.
For the ITP administrator the new UI is even more attractive. Necessary customizations in the UI are taken care of more easily because of the new UI architecture.
Office 2010 and Docx support
ITP 4 will also support the new Microsoft Office 2010, providing great opportunities to start using all those interesting new features in Microsoft Office 2010. ITP 4 is the first ITP version to support the Microsoft Office Open XML document (docx) format.
And for insiders: multiple conditions available!
And last but not least good news for the customers who are anxiously waiting to work with multiple conditions for a single node in the Content Wizard. This feature and other exciting new Content Wizard functionalities will be available in ITP 4.
