Actuera and Aia Software join forces for pensions

Nijmegen, June 6, 2011 – Actuera and Aia Software have signed a partnership agreement with a view to bundling strengths and expertise to benefit the pension and life insurance market.

The software suppliers came into contact through a number of mutual customers, which prompted them to intensify their collaboration. The two companies' respective packages complement each other so well in terms of functionality that they will be integrated further to form one standard interface. Actuera’s Maia software platform is used for administering and managing pension funds and life insurance policies, and Aia Software’s ITP, a document creation and management solution, interfaces with it seamlessly. The companies are not just going to work together to serve existing and future customers - Actuera will also integrate the ITP module in its successful ASP model.

We had given Maia a built-in document creation function of our own, similar to Word’s mail merge. Integration with the ITP Document Platform will provide a whole new dimension for our customers,” explains Wouter Boeser, Business Architect at Actuera. “All information from Maia is now added to a letter, policy or other document, produced fully in keeping with the required corporate style and the content of each document can be changed, provided the user has the required permissions. This makes correspondence extremely customer-driven.”
