Aia Software and Circle Software sign OEM agreement
ITP Document Platform seamlessly merged into theVerseon ECM platform
Nijmegen, 20 December 2010 - Aia Software, a leading global supplier of intelligent document composition software today announced that is has signed an OEM agreement with Circle Software, an independent software house that specializes in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems. This partnership enables Circle Software to offer document creation as a standard component within its Verseon ECM platform. ITP Document Platform integration into Verseon gives users direct access to advanced document creation and document management functions, without having to launch a new application.
Circle Software's decision to select Aia Software's ITP is based on a careful market evaluation. Raoul Coenegracht, Managing Director at Circle Software, who is also responsible for product development, explains: “We were facing a make-or-buy decision, because our current document creation solution was no longer compatible with the new generation of Verseon. Seeing as many public sector clients already work with document creation solutions, including Aia Software's ITP, we were regularly asked whether Verseon could be integrated with that. We have therefore chosen to enter into a collaboration with a best-of-breed supplier that meets our requirements on both a technical and a functional level.
Coenegracht added, "The choice for Aia Software was a well-considered one. Their technical architecture dovetails well with that of our products, and their solution is user-friendly and web-based with strong performance levels that make it very easy for users to create and edit documents. We can now offer our clients access to a robust, scalable and flexible document creation solution with a proven track record in the market.”
Paul Dirven, Aia Software CEO commented: “It is our strategy to further expand the number of OEM agreements that we have in place. We are therefore extremely pleased to have signed this agreement with Circle Software. They have an excellent reputation in the public sector market, allowing us to further expand our presence in that market. Integrating the ITP Document Platform into Verseon E-Suite enables the total offering to deliver greater added value for the customer.”
Case-based working method
Public sector institutions are spearheading a new way of working based on cases. Flexible and automated document creation is a key aspect of the case-based approach. Partly thanks to the integration of ITP into Verseon, Circle Software now supports multi-channel document creation, which is a prerequisite for integrated digital services.
