Aia Software and VDD IQware sign a partnership

Nijmegen/Waalre, 21 February 2005 - Today Aia Software and VDD IQware signed a partnership to offer products from both organizations as an integrated solution. Aia Software has become increasingly aware of demand from customers to store their documents digitally and permanently. An increase in the compliance requirements of certain industry sectors has greatly contributed to this. Hyarchis.Net, a VDD IQware solution, offers the capability to store documents in such a way that they can be accessed at all times and from any location, in accordance with user's security access rights. Through the combination of ITP’s powerful document production, transformation and delivery capabilities, and Hyarchis.Net’s extensive storage and archiving features, the full end-to-end document lifecycle is addressed.
The first outcome of the partnership will be a special version of Hyarchis.Net enabling customers to import and store individual ITP documents. This version will be available before the summer of 2005.
Organizations use Aia Software’s ITP Document Platform to automate the production of documents and correspondence with, for example, company logos and styles, from standard text blocks and data from various business applications. Although based on standard components, such documents can be highly personalized. Following production and delivery to the recipient, these documents require digital storage. Hyarchis.Net is an advanced document management system for easy archiving and retrieval. Both companies’ products have a modern architecture, following industry standards, enabling speedy integration. Both solutions are compliant with Microsoft’s .Net architecture.
