Aia Software expands sales team

Jeroen Huinink, Wim van Horen, Rob Geerings, Mark van de Logt

Nijmegen, February 18th, 2010 – Aia Software, maker of the ITP Document Platform, is bolstering its sales team with new hires and promotions. Mark van de Logt (37) and Wim van Horen (42) have joined as Senior Account Managers. Rob Geerings and Jeroen Huinink have both made a promotion within the company. Rob Geerings (34) has been appointed Product Specialist, and Jeroen Huinink (37) will be continuing his career at Aia Software in the role of Business Partner Manager. Bolstering its sales team in this manner is part of the company’s (inter)national growth strategy.

In his new role of Business Partner Manager, Jeroen Huinink (37) will take on responsibility for the global Business Partner Program, as well as for international expansion of the existing partner network. Jeroen on his career move: “As the Business Partner Manager, I will be further amplifying and streamlining the indirect sales channel. There is widespread interest in our products in different countries and markets. In order to be able to meet that demand, we must start looking for professional and high-quality sales and implementation partners, who can help us serve these markets, and share in our success. Although Aia Software has been working with partners right from the start, the biggest chunk of our turnover is still generated by our own sales. It would be great if we could make sure that by this time next year the indirect channel has generated a major part of our global turnover.”

As Senior Account Managers, Mark and Wim will be in charge of relations management with existing customers, as well as of further extending Aia Software’s customer portfolio. Alongside these duties, Wim will also be responsible for contact with our partners in Germany and France. He has set himself the goal of making the company’s (inter)national customer network grow further. Mark van de Logt: “I’m proud of the position Aia Software, as a Dutch software company, has managed to carve out for itself on the global stage up to now. And I'm convinced we can further strengthen that position, and even add to it. Numerous companies have not yet cottoned on to the fact that document creation can help them realize a wide array of improvements in the realms of costs, efficiency, and quality. Rob Geerings used to be a Senior Consultant at Aia Software, and now moves up to the position of Product Specialist, which means he will be in charge of pre-sales process support. This includes preparing and giving customer-specific product demonstrations, as well as translating customers’ functionality requirements into technical solutions. Rob on his new challenge: “Apart from gaining more profound knowledge in the area of document creation, I mainly relish the challenge of becoming a linking factor between the commercial and technical departments at Aia Software, by converting functionality requirements expressed by customers into technical solutions. Seeing as every customer is different, this will be a continuous process of innovation, which will throw up complex puzzles to solve every time."
