Aia Software pushes to double sales in the US through partner relationships

Nijmegen, 15 March 2010 – Aia Software, manufacturer and supplier of the ITP Document Platform, is set to considerably extend its market share in the US in the coming year. In order to make that happen, Aia Software will focus on partner network expansion. Partnering already proved to be an important growth driver during the company’s successful launch in the UK last year. Aia Software aims to double its sales generated in the US in the coming year.

“In 2009, Aia Software was acclaimed as a Strong Performer for Interactive Output in the Forrester Wave: Document Output For Customer Communications Management. This has stirred up great interest in the ITP Document Platform in the US”, says Jeroen Huinink, Business Partner Manager at Aia Software. “In our drive to further expand our network in the US, we are actively looking for resellers and OEM partners.”

He added, “Aia already has a strong position thanks to our ISV partners. ISV partners provide a solution for a specific vertical market, such as insurance or leasing, and they include Aia’s ITP in their solutions as an OEM component for document output. We will maintain our focus on expanding our ISV network. For the US, we are in particular looking for resellers: companies that supply products or services in the realm of documents or customer communication management. For such companies, ITP is the ideal addition to their products and services, enabling them to meet customers' need for interactive output. Our target for 2010 is to start out with two or three OEM partners and two or three resellers in the US, and to double our sales there.”

In order to introduce potential partners and customers to Aia Software and the ITP Document Platform, Jeroen Huinink will be addressing Xplor’s 2010 Global Document Conference & Vendor Forum on Friday 19 March. His presentation will focus on, among other things, the increasing value and importance of documents for optimum customer communication. The 2010 Global Document Conference & Vendor Forum will be held at the TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel and Conference Center in Tampa Bay, Florida from 17 to 19 March 2010.

Success in the UK in 2009

In 2009, Aia Software focused on growth in the UK, resulting in the near doubling of its sales there. In addition, Aia Software saw its customer base grow by 26 percent, and managed to further bolster its presence in key sectors, including the London insurance market. Aia’s partner network played a key role in this success, and was responsible for landing a number of new major contracts.

“Another success was our increased market penetration in the London insurance market”, says Paul Dirven, Aia Software’s CEO. “Our product development efforts paid off with a couple of new high-profile contracts that have seriously boosted our market share. Aia Software’s status as a growing player in the market has earned it an invitation to participate in Microsoft's London Market Network joint venture. Following our success in the UK, we have decided to now set our sights on growth in the US, where we are seeking to match or even surpass the success we achieved in the UK."
