Volvo VFS Financial Services Belgium chooses Aia Software's document software
Brussels, September 14th 2006 - Volvo VFS Financial Services Belgium - the financial group behind Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Volvo Buses and Volvo Construction Equipment - has chosen Aia Software's ITP Document Platform for the creation of their correspondence. Following the initial quotations, contracts and related correspondence will be produced with the ITP Document Platform. This solution is currently being implemented.
"In line with the development of a new quotation tool, we needed a new application for creating quotation documents, contracts and related correspondence. This tool had to be very flexible, especially concerning the maintenance of the documents, have extensive layout capabilities and offer a wide selection of output format and channel options. Aia Software's ITP was clearly the best option," says Rudy Bauwens, financial controller at VFS Financial Services Belgium. "That the Dutch office of VFS has already been using ITP for many years only makes the choice easier," concludes Bauwens.
Aia Software is the developer and global supplier of the ITP Document Platform which can simply and efficiently create highly personalized documents, based on company data, texts, images and the application of business rules. All of the rich and familiar functionality provided by Microsoft Word is available for use with ITP, in combination with ITP's own powerful automation capabilities.
ITP enables the creation of reusable textual building blocks ensuring the production of consistently correct documents, which conform with company style. For example, integrating a paragraph describing the technical specifications of a truck into a quotation for customers. When the aforementioned technical description requires modification, it's update in a single location ensures that it is applied to all relevant documents. This is one of the ways in which Volvo VFS will achieve efficiency gains in document production and maintenance.
