ITP Solution Overview
In this training course all aspects of ITP will be briefly looked into. A light will be shed on generating on-demand, interactive and structured (batch) documents in various company styles. Aia’s business managed approach will be explained and business components like text blocks and forms will be shown. At the end of the day you will have a good impression of what ITP can do for you, and what elements are applicable to your situation.
Document Definition & Specification Workshop
This workshop is meant for everyone who is responsible for delivering document designs and document specifications. Also, employees who have an important role in testing will be offered the right context to adequately report their findings.
Starting point is a non-structured set of documents and a description of how, when and by whom these documents are being used. Through analysis, company styles and structured document descriptions will be developed. This is the starting point for the Content Managers and Template Developers.
ITP Content Management »
This training course is designed for those who will be managing texts in ITP. For this, no programming experience is needed. The focus will be on creating and managing texts, forms and data fields. We will also look into the automation of conditions: what content should be used under which circumstances.
ITP Template Development »
After finishing this training course, you will be able to create quite complex documents. Also, you will know how to effectively cooperate with Content Managers within your organization.
All options ITP offers for document assembly – like defining lay-out, data access, decision rules, and building blocks – will be addressed in this training course.
ITP/MDK Repository Administration
In this training course the management aspects of the ITP/MDK Repository will be discussed. This includes: installation, application and content management, document life cycle management, and the creation of management reports.
ITP DID Development »
This training course is meant for those who will disclose the data fields for ITP Template Development.
We will explain how to create the interface between ITP and your database(s) or XML source files. This interface is called the DID (Data Interface Definition).
ITP/Server & ITP/OnLine Administration
This workshop is meant for administrators who are responsible for managing the ITP/Server and ITP/OnLine setups. Subjects that will be discussed are: installation, configuration, authorization, logging, error handling, and backup & recovery.
ITP/Server Scripting
This training course is aimed at developers who are responsible for implementing the ITP/Server services for creating and distributing documents. The scripting language is explained and some services will be realized.
ITP/OnLine Customization Workshop
In this workshop the interactive part of ITP will be discussed. ITP/OnLine Server can integrate ITP in third party applications. You will learn how to adopt the corporate identity of your organization or that of the calling application.
Application Integration Workshop
This workshop is aimed at Application Developers who want to call ITP/Server from third party applications. This will be explained using the ITP/Server APIs. The communication between ITP/Server and calling applications will be discussed.
