The sales department is responsible for building on, and developing relationships with existing and new customers. Within this department we are looking for a:

Job description:

An Account Manager at Aia Software forms an important link between customers and the solutions Aia Software has to offer. You are able to interest potential customers in the ITP solution. You maintain in close contact with customers, so you are aware of any issues of opportunities emerging. You will proactively act upon such matters that need immediate attention. You have excellent communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and you prefer a pragmatic approach.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand upon (major) accounts
  • Responsible for a number of assigned end user paths:
    - Conversion suspect to lead
    - Lead succession
    - Succession RFP/RFI, quotation, etc
    - Regular account visits
    - Write account plans for major accounts
  • Keep abreast of business opportunities and industry trends
  • Be able to give professional presentations / demonstrations for customers
  • Participation of industry specific events
  • Provide feedback on ITP, and be aware of possible improvements

Job requirements:

  • A minimum of HBO level of working and thinking (commercial)
  • A minimum of 3-6 years relevant experience
  • Broad, proven experience in a commercial function within the software industry
  • Command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Customer driven, solution focused, result oriented and a high degree of independence
  • Good communication skills and able to report and present in a clear way
  • Have broad and general knowledge of IT
  • Familiarity of ITP would be an advantage
  • Affinity with document solutions is desirable
  • Willing and able to fulfil activities before or after office hours and abroad.

The concerned work area will primarily be the Netherlands and Belgium. Despite the fact that as Account Manager you are "on the road" on a regular basis we value on a good relationship with your colleagues. Therefore you will work from the office in Nijmegen.
