Its Sales department is responsible for building and extending a network of relationships with (potential) clients. For this department, we are looking for a:

Job description:

At Aia Software, the (senior) account manager is a key link between clients and Aia Software's solutions. This position requires an ability to spark potential clients' interest in Aia's ITP solutions and involves maintaining close contact with clients, in order to acquire accurate insight into what they find important, and be able to identify focus areas. It also requires excellent communication skills, a great sense of responsibility, and a pragmatic approach.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing existing and bringing in new corporate accounts.
  • Final responsibility for a number of assigned major end-user processes:
    - Conversion from suspect to lead.
    - Lead follow-up.
    - Following up RFP/RFI, quotes, etc.
    - Regular account visits.
    - Drawing up account plans for major accounts.
  • Identifying clients' commercial and business developments.Giving presentations/demonstrations for clients.
  • Participating in trade fairs.
  • Giving feedback on the product line and identifying possible improvement areas.

Job requirements:

  • University education (business subjects). 
  • At least 3 - 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ample demonstrable experience in a commercial job.
  • Good written and spoken Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Client focus, solution-driven, result-driven, and high level of independence.
  • Communication skills and an ability to report and present clearly.
  • Wide-ranging general knowledge of IT subjects.
  • Knowledge of ITP would be an advantage.
  • Experience and a network of high-level contacts in the public sector and/or insurance sector would be an advantage. Aia's clients include: ABN Amro, ING, Robeco, AXA Group, Royal&Sun, Alliance, Friends First, Legal & General and LeasePlan.
  • Affinity with document creation software is desirable.
  • Willing and able to work outside office hours or abroad when needed.
