ITP interfaces seamlessly with existing business applications and multiple delivery channels. Aia Software, a completely independent company, is headquartered in The Netherlands, in Nijmegen, and has regional offices in the United States, England, Germany, Switzerland and Australia.

The Research & Development department is engaged in the design,  implementation and maintenance of the  ITP Document Platform. The development methods are primarily ‘agile’ and the daily routine is centered on SCRUM in small teams that change over time.

Job description:
A software engineer at Aia:

• Designs independently or in teams parts of the software of the ITP Document Platform
• Writes technical and functional designs
• Maintains the software
• Designs and processes test results
• Offers Second-line support
• Occasionally does consultancy work for the Professional Services department

Job requirements:
A software engineer at Aia:

• Can work and think at an academic level
• Has completed a relevant IT education  (University Computer Science)
• Has at least three years of relevant work experience
• Has a broad knowledge in the field of software-development
• Develops in a fast and broad way within the field
• Identifies and solves problems
• Is able to accomplish light and medium tasks in a logical and independent way
• Supports with the implementation of extensive and complex engineering tasks
• Has the potential to specialize or to assume a coordinating role
• Is able to participate in research projects
• Is proficient  in written and spoken English
• Is customer oriented

Knowledge areas:
The software engineer who we are looking for knows and has demonstrable relevant experience in the following techniques and products:

• C#
• ASP.Net
• The Microsoft development platform (Visual Studio)
• The implementation of graphical user interfaces with the Microsoft development platform

Additional experience with the technologies, methods and  techniques mentioned below is considered an advantage:

• J2EE
• C++
• Javascript
• XML/XSLT
• IIS
• SCRUM
• SQLServer
