New Major

This menu item is only available if a project is selected. It increments the major part of the revision number by one. The major number is the first number in the revision number, i.e., the 2 in 2.1. Increasing the major revision number can be done by selecting the project in question and choosing New Major from the Action menu. A new revision is created, a copy of the [current] revision, with a major number one higher than that of the [current] revision.

The details of a revision always show on which revision it is based.

Note

All documents and models in the project must be unlocked and closed before you can create a new major revision number.

A new major number cannot be undone.
