Application Integration

To integrate the ITP Run Model process in an application, several options are offered.

ITP/Workstation

Depending on your setup you can use:

Com libraries, commands and DLLs
ITP/Workstation comes with a range of APIs to integrate ITP into a host application. APIs are available to create ITP Models, to run ITP Models, to read log entries and to change or retrieve configuration settings.

WindowsEnabler/400
If your application runs on an AS/400 ISeries and you run ITP on your Windows environment, you can use WindowsEnabler/400 to integrate ITP into the AS/400 ISeries application. WindowsEnabler/400 provides host commands to start programs on a Microsoft Windows based workstation.

WindowsEnabler/MQSeries
If your application runs on a host using IBM's MQSeries and you run ITP on your Microsoft Windows environment, you can use WindowsEnabler/MQSeries to integrate ITP into the host application. WindowsEnabler/MQSeries provides an interface to MQSeries with which you can start a program on a Microsoft Windows based workstation.

ITP/Server

ITP requests of jobs can be submitted through TCP/IP. Submission software (APIs) is available for Java/J2EE, Microsoft Windows 95 / 98 / ME / XP / NT / 2000, Unix variants (including Linux) and AS/400 ISeries.
