With the Content Wizard Editor you can change the order of Selection Groups, Sections and Text Blocks.
Use drag and drop to move items in the tree view. You can also copy items during drag and drop by pressing either the key ALT, CTRL, or SHIFT and keep it pressed when you drop the item. The mouse pointer will give you feedback whether the location is valid for the dragged item to be dropped.
You can also use the following buttons and keyboard short-cuts to move a selected element:
|
short-cut: Alt-Up (Alt key and the arrow key Up) to move an item one position up. |
|
short-cut: Alt-Down (Alt key and the arrow key Down) to move and item one position down. |
|
short-cut: Alt-Left (Alt key and the arrow key Left) to move an item from the current Section or Selection Group. When Sections or Text Blocks are moved out of a Selection Group they will automatically become mandatory. |
|
short-cut: Alt-Right (Alt key and the arrow key Right) to move an item into the next Section or Selection Group. When Sections or Text Blocks are moved into a Selection Group they will automatically become optional, and default not selected. |
If an item cannot be moved into a certain direction the corresponding button will be disabled.
There is a limit to the number of levels the tree view can contain. Sections can only be added or moved to a maximum of five levels deep. A Selection Group of Sections counts as one level.
There are also limitations regarding Data Definition Groups. The Data Definition Groups cannot be moved in such a way that they violate the ordering displayed in the Data Definition pane.
