Assign Label

With the menu item a label can be assigned to a revision of an object. A label can have a maximum length of 49 characters. Labels can be used to easily identify and find specific Document Revisions. They can also be used to create groups of revisions. Refer to Labels for more information on using labels.
Assigning a label to a projects or a folder means that the label is assigned to the [current] revision of all objects in the project or folder. After an assignment the progress window will show how many labels were assigned to objects in the project or folder.

All information available in the ITP/MDK Repository about the labels used in a project can be gathered in one document by selecting a project and choosing the Label Listing menu item in the Report menu. This menu item will run an ITP model that will collect all information and present it in a Microsoft Word document.
