Select the node in the tree view and find the user account in the details pane. Select the menu option on the context menu of a user account, or double-click the user account. The dialog shows up.
The authorization of the user can be changed on the tab . This can be done by selecting or de-selecting roles in the . (Roles are described below.) To be able to create new projects, at least one user must have Project Creator authorization on global level, i.e., configured on the user account itself.

Note that roles assigned to the user account here are global, meaning that the user account has these roles for all projects in the ITP/MDK Repository installation. More fine-grained authorization can also be managed by non-administrative users with the proper authorization (e.g., Project Creator or Project Manager), allowing users to receive authorization for a specific project, folder or even document. When a user is not authorized for a specific folder or object, he will not see this information. This way it is possible to hide irrelevant folders and objects, e.g., for users that only have right to use the Text Block editor. Refer to the ITP/MDK Repository Manual, section Roles and Authorization for more information.
Note
The user whose authorization has been changed must log out and log on again for the change to take full effect.
