If a user edits a document that document is locked. This means that no one else can edit this document. To prevent deadlocks an administrator can break all locks. When he does the in development revisions of the locking users will be turned into revisions but the current revision will remain the same. In other words work is saved but the current marker is not moved to it. This means that if a document is edited after its lock has been broken the revision before last (the current revision when it was locked) will be opened. This menu item is only available to the administrator.
