Create user accounts

The built-in ITP Admin account is for administrative purposes only, and cannot participate in model development or other common ITP/MDK Repository tasks. You need to create one or more user accounts for this. After selecting the folder Users you can choose the option New user... from the File or context menu. Enter a user name and password, which the user will need to log in. Also enter the full name.

At least one user account will need the right to create projects and assign authorization to users. To accomplish this, select the Users node in the tree view, and double-click the user on the right who you want to give this authorization. Alternatively, select Configuration... from the shortcut menu on that user.

Select the Authorization tab in the ensuing Configuration dialog, and mark the Project Creator role in the Global Roles panel. Click OK to close the dialog and save the changes.
