Specify the formal parameters. You need to specify the name, data type, length and -optionally- decimals for the parameter.

If the type does not support decimals, decimals should be set to -1.

Not all data types are meaningful in all connection types. ITP interprets parameter values as if they have the specified type. This can give unexpected results or cause errors.
