Deploying the J2EE Web Service interface

Open the WebSphere administrative console and select Applications > Install New Application. For the path to the new application, select the file itpserver.war. In the field "Context root", enter "itpserver" (without the quotes).

Then complete the install wizard, which contains a number of follow-up screens. The default settings are normally all right. To view the installed application and start/stop it, go to Applications > Enterprise Applications.
