DID administration

In the ITP/SDK for iSeries the information on the Entries, Fields, Subentries, and DID Sources is stored in a database; the DID Administration. The DID Administration is maintained with the ITP/SDK for iSeries. The ITP/SDK MultiPlatform does not use a DID Administration, but DID Documents.

Before you can use a DID in ITP that is created with the ITP/SDK for iSeries, you have to download it to the Client with the iSeries DID Administration program. There is no difference between DIDs created from a DID Document with the ITP/SDK MultiPlatform and DIDs downloaded from a DID Administration created with the ITP/SDK for iSeries.
