Key selection

When a Model is run ITP/Workstation will show a Key Selection screen if:

• The Model encounters a Main Entry that has one or more formal parameters.
• The Entry is accessed with the IN keyword.
• The parameters were not supplied through the Run Model API.

In this screen the users sees a list of records, these records are retrieved by the Key Retrieval method. Each of these records shows a number of Fields that should enable the user to select a unique record. After the users selects a record ITP/Workstation obtains the actual parameters from the Key Retrieval method. These actual parameters are used to call the Data Retrieval method. Which Fields are shown in the selection screen and which Fields are used as actual parameters is determined by the Entry definition.

Model Developer View
