Text Block

You can use a Text Block element to add a simple or a Rich Text Block to the Content Wizard, to a Section, or to a Text Block Selection Group. You can use such Text Block elements to allow the end user to insert the content of the Text Block into the document, which is created using the Content Wizard.

Text Block

You can enter the name, of a Text Block you want to refer to, in the Text Block property of the Text Block element. You select it by name from a list that contains all the available (Rich) Text Blocks for a Project.

Editable Text Blocks

You can use a check box for a Text Block to indicate that the user can edit this Text Block during a Content Wizard run.

Optional and mandatory Text Blocks

You can use a check box for a Text Block to indicate that this Text Block should be optional or not. You can use a second check box for Optional Text Blocks to indicate that this Text Block should be default selected in the selection dialog generated by the Content Wizard. Text Blocks added to a Selection Group are always optional. Otherwise, a Text Block can be mandatory or optional. Mandatory Text Blocks will automatically be selected and appear as read only in the selection dialog of the Content Wizard.

Note

It is only possible to set the number of Text Blocks that can be selected for Text Blocks in a Selection Group.

Question text

For optional Text Blocks that are not part of a group you can enter a Question text. This text will be displayed to the end user in the online selection form of the Content Wizard. In this text you can give a description of the selection that is offered. If you leave the Question text empty a default text will be displayed. You can use a space if you want to have no text displayed.

Note

Question text is only available with ITP/Server version 3.5.7 or higher.
