Environments offer the opportunity to run ITP Models within ITP/Server with a certain set of connection configuration settings. These settings are used to connect to a data source. Environments thus offer the possibility to run a model with different data sources.
Which Environment should be used to run a model can be passed as a parameter in the ITPRun and RunCrtRun command or, for ITP/OnLine Server, set in the ITP/OnLine Server API or HTTP interface.
Environments can be configured with the ITP/Server Administrator. For more information on environments refer to the ITP/Server Administrator Help.
