In the ITP/MDK Repository Text Blocks are associated with Field Sets. This association determines which fields will be available when editing the Text Block. The ITP/MDK Repository ensures that the user is warned if a field that is used in Text Blocks is removed from a Field Set. Along with the content of the Text Block, the meta data holds the Field Sets that were associated with the Text Block at the time it was retrieved from the ITP/MDK Repository. Whenever the Text Block is re-edited, the fields for these Field Sets are retrieved from the ITP/MDK Repository and presented to the user.
An editable Text Block is not stored in the ITP/MDK Repository – it resides in meta data files and may be used in model runs as illustrated before. Because of this the ITP/MDK Repository cannot warn the user if a field that is used in an editable Text Block is removed from a Field Set.
