IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Microsoft Windows (version 9.5)

Tested with client version 9.05.00.808.

The DB2 database must meet the following requirements:

• Support long data types; this requires that the database is created with a 4K page size.
• Support Unicode data types; this requires that the database is created with USING CODESET UTF-8.

The DB2 ODBC client must be configured to support long data types and translate them correctly, and to use a user-independent schema. The following settings must be set on the tab Advanced Settings of the DSN:

• LongDataCompat with value 1.
• LOBMaxColumnSize with value 2147483647 (default).
• CurrentSchema with value SYSTEM.

DB2 support has been tested with databases on Microsoft Windows and Linux.

Object sizes up to 1 GB are supported by the ITP/MDK Repository running on DB2 9.5 for Linux, UNIX and Microsoft Windows.
