There are some situations where WindowsEnabler/400 cannot correctly determine the WindowsEnabler/400 client PC ID through its default method. This happens for example when you use Windows Terminal Server or when there is a firewall with Network Address Translation between your PCs and your AS/400.
If you use a PCO capable terminal emulator, you can solve this problem by using PCO ID retrieval. If you use a terminal emulator that does not support PCO ID retrieval, you can use User ID ID Retrieval. The user id with which the user is logged in is used to determine the PC from which the WindowsEnabler request is issued.
