If the document exists in the ITP/MDK Repository
Please note that the check if a document already exists in the ITP/MDK Repository takes place on folder level and is done by name only.
When a duplicate is detected, you can choose from one of the following options:
- Prompt
This will prompt you during the load if the import process encounters a file that already exists in the ITP/MDK Repository. You can then choose to create a new revision of the file, skip the file, or abort the whole process. - Create new revision
If this option is checked the load process will load all files that already exist in the ITP/MDK Repository as new revisions of those files. The check is by name and on folder level. - Rename
This option will rename a document during the load if its name already exists in the ITP/MDK Repository. It will place a serial number, starting with 1, between brackets behind the document's name; MyModelDoc will become MyModelDoc[1] the first time and MyModelDoc[2] the second time. - Skip
This option skips the files that you want to load if they already exist in the ITP/MDK Repository. - Abort
This option aborts the load process if a file is encountered that already exists in the ITP/MDK Repository.
