Initializing database and uploading Reports

The final step is to prepare the database and to upload the Reports. Reports are part of the functionality of the ITP/MDK Repository that is implemented as a project and as such they need to be uploaded to the new database.
The cvc tool is used to do both database initialization and reports loading.
Uploading in steps:

• Start a command line prompt
• Change folder to the folder where you installed the ITP/Model Development Kit Server
• Run the following command:

cvc reportsdump

Note

that you can only see reports if one of your roles allows you to. If you do not see any reports, or only some reports, check your authorization.

After this step you can open a client and start working in the new database.
