Introduction

The ITP/Server Monitor application has no separate installation program. When started it will ask for connection parameters to setup a connection with an ITP/Server. This connection uses "TCP/IP".

In order to be able to use the ITP/Server Monitor you must set a port for the monitor on the Monitor tab in the ITP/Server Administrator. Follow the instructions below:

• Start the ITP/Server Administrator.
• Select the ITP/Server you want to monitor in the tree view.
• Click on the Monitor tab.
• Enter a port number after Port:. This can be any port number but make sure that the number you enter is not in use. If you use the default ports for ITP/Server, 3002 can be used.
• Press the Save&Apply button.
• Enter the chosen number when the monitor starts as well as the host's name or IP address (local machine is 127.0.0.1).

The Monitor program will store all settings in the registry and will use them as new defaults for the next session.

If you want to connect to a different Server either enter the host and port number when the Monitor starts or, when the Monitor is already started, select Connect from the Server menu and do the same.
