Installing the ITP/Create Model Package(s)

The ITP/Create Model Package should be installed after the ITP/MDK Repository Server installation is completed. The ITP/Create Model Package should be installed on the same system. Installing an ITP/Create Model Package is straightforward. Start the installer ITP/Create Model Package [version].msi, where [version] is the version of your choice. ITP/Create Model Packages come in versions, just like ITP/Workstation and ITP/OnLine Server.

Which ITP/Create Model Package you should use depends on the version of the ITP Software you use to run the ITP Model, e.g., if you use ITP/Server 3.2.1 to run the models you should not use a more recent ITP/Create Model Package, otherwise it might not be possible to run the models. You can install multiple ITP/Create Model Package versions on a single machine. Without any ITP/Create Model Package installed you will not be able to create ITP Models.

Note

To use Content Wizards you need to install version 3.2.22 or higher of the ITP/Create Model Package.

Microsoft Windows 2008 requires administrative privileges to install the ITP/Create Model Package. The current version of the ITP/Create Model Package is not yet able to leverage UAC elevation. Therefore, it must be run from an administrative account that has Admin Approval Mode disabled, or from an elevated command line.
