This manual describes how to install the ITP/MDK Repository 3.5 release. It follows all steps, necessary to get the ITP/MDK Repository up and running, in chronological order.
If you have a previous version of the ITP/MDK Repository installed, refer to chapter Upgrading for information on how to upgrade it.
Read the chapter Before installation first to get an insight in what you will need to install the ITP/MDK Repository. Especially the chapter Supported databases is important. This chapter might also aid in your choice of DBMS, since it discusses configuration details of the supported databases.
The ITP/MDK Repository consists of three installation programs and a database. The remaining chapters describe the installation in steps. We suggest you follow the sequence suggested in these chapters.
The first program is the ITP/MDK Repository Server to be installed on a server, chapter Installing the ITP/MDK Repository Server provides more information on installing this program.
The second is the ITP/Create Model Package that needs to be installed on the server. The ITP/Create Model Package contains the programs necessary to create ITP Models. Refer to chapter Installing the ITP/Create Model Package(s) for more information.
The third program is the ITP/MDK Repository Client to be installed on all clients. The installation process of this program can be found in chapter Installing the ITP/MDK Repository Client.
