DID Administration

In the ITP/SDK AS/400 (SDK/400 in short) the DIDs are not created using the ITP DID Language. The information about the Entries, Fields, Subentries and DID Modules (known as DID Sources in the SDK/400) is stored in a database, the DID Administration. The DID Administration is maintained with the SDK/400. The ITP/SDK MultiPlatform does not use a DID Administration, but DID Documents.

Before you can use a DID in ITP that is created with the SDK/400 you have to download it to the Client with the AS/400 DID Administration program. There is no difference between DIDs created from a DID Document with the ITP/SDK MultiPlatform and DIDs downloaded from a DID Administration created with the SDK/400.
