When you create a new document in the ITP/MDK Repository, Microsoft Word will make an empty document based on the ITP/MDK Document Template. The ITP/MDK Document Template can be configured in the Action menu in the Administrator mode of the ITP/MDK Repository. If no Document Template has been configured, the ITP/MDK will use the default Microsoft Word template to base the documents on.
An ITP/MDK Document Template typically contains Microsoft Word styles that support the layout of the (model) documents. An example template repository.dot is installed with the ITP/MDK Repository Server. We suggest that you either create your own template to base new (model) documents on or that you configure and possibly adapt the repository.dot.
