The window Create model appears if you select a project, a folder, an include document, or a number of ITP Models and call the action Create model. This window will show all ITP Models that are involved. This makes it also possible to re-create all ITP Models that use a certain (changed) include document.
Note
To create ITP Models based on Microsoft Word DOCX documents, ITP/Create Model Package version 3.5.4 (or higher) has to be installed.
An ITP Model can be displayed with Details. Details gives information in the form of an icon and text on the status of the ITP Model. The following information can be expected:
Note
You can find the location of an ITP Model in the list by right-clicking it and selecting Locate…. From the same context menu you can run an ITP Model or view the error menu depending on the status of an ITP Model.
Create Model if…
If outdated, if this option is checked, only the ITP Models marked as outdated will be created. An ITP Model is outdated when one of the documents it depends on has changed.
Always, if this option is checked, all models whether or not they are outdated are (re-)created.
On error…
During the Create Model actions, errors can be found. The following actions can be taken upon an error:
Note
The error document of a failed ITP Model can be opened by right-clicking on the model and selecting Show errors….
Clicking this button will start the Create model process. The pane in which the ITP Models are shown will provide feedback.
Note
A successfully created model can be run by selecting Run from its context menu.
This button can only be selected after the Create all action has successfully created all ITP Models in the selection. All ITP Models in the list will be labeled. If ITP Models in the list have not been created because they were already up to date, the action Label all will pop up a window in which you can indicate whether you want these ITP Models to be labeled as well.
All ITP Models in the selection can be unlocked with the action Unlock all. The action Unlock all will ask for a description that will be saved with the appropriate model revision. Any related documents that were locked by the user who performs the Unlock all action at the moment the action Unlock all is called, are unlocked as well. You will be asked to enter a description for these documents as well.
If you select a single ITP Model in the list, you can test it by clicking the item Test in the context menu. The ITP Model will be run and tested.
This button closes the Create model window.
