This manual contains instructions on how to install and use ITP/Server.

Chapter ITP/Server and ITP/OnLine Server provides general information on ITP/Server and how it relates to ITP/OnLine Server.

Refer to chapter Requirements for more information about system requirements for installing the different products.

Details on installation of the ITP/Server, ITP/Document Processor and the ITP/Server Administrator can be found in the respective chapters:

• Installing the ITP/Server
  The ITP/Server installation installs the complete product on your system. It installs the ITP/Document Processor Manager that manages and load balances the different ITP/Document Processors, it configures the system as an ITP/Document Processor Server on which ITP/Document Processors can be configured and it installs the ITP/Server Administrator with which the ITP/Server can be configured.
• Installing an ITP/Document Processor
  The ITP/Document Processor installation configures the system on which it is installed to be an ITP/Document Processor Server on which Document Processors can be configured. During the installation of the ITP/Document Processor you will have to select the ITP/Server to connect to.
• Installing the ITP/Server Administrator
  This installer only installs the ITP/Server Administrator and its help files. With the ITP/Server Administrator the different ITP/Servers and ITP/Document Processors can be configured and managed. During the installation it is possible to add or remove ITP/Servers that need to be managed by the ITP/Server installation.

Installation of more than one ITP/Server on one machine is possible, refer to chapter Installing more than one ITP/Server on one machine for more information.

Chapter Installing the ITP/Server Client set provides more details on installing a client on a system. The Client Install is intended for developers who want to develop, on a workstation, a connection or connections using APIs to existing ITP/Server Services.

Chapters Installing the ASP.NET Web Services interface and Installing the J2EE Web Services interface provide a concise description of the installation of the respective products. For a more detailed description refer to the ITP/OnLine Installation Guides (J2EE or ASP.NET).

The chapters Installing the Directory Watch interface and Installing the MQSeries interface discuss the installation of the respective interfaces.
