Introduction

This help-document will support you on working with the Monitor program.

The ITP/Server Monitor program enables you to monitor all jobs for the monitored ITP/Server. The Monitor can run on the same machine as ITP/Server or on a remote machine. In the Monitor program you see the list of current jobs in the ITP/Server. The following job information is listed:

• A graphical representation of the status,
• The id of the job as used when the job as submitted,
• The status of the job: Held (on hold), Pending (waiting for its turn) or Running,
• The priority of the job, lower numbers mean higher priorities,
• The service that the job has been submitted to and
• The (submission) owner of the job

In the section Usage, the jobs you can select are described. You can select one or multiple jobs from this list and perform one of the following operations:

• Remove - removes the selected job(s).
• Hold - hold the selected job(s).
• Release - release the selected job(s).
• Reschedule - change the priority of the selected job(s).
• Show details - show the job details for a single selected job.
• Retrieve log - retrieve logs from system
• Services - retrieve active services of the current ITP/Server Manager

The operations can be performed from the Job menu and from the context menu that will appear when right-clicking a selected job.

Through the Server menu, you can connect to a different ITP/Server, retrieve the current log file of the ITP/Server Manager, retrieve the active Services of the current ITP/Server Manager, change the refresh properties and exit the Monitor program.
