In previous releases of ITP/Server it was possible to override or change scripts in the folders System and System Library. This facility is now deprecated. In the next major release, the folders System and System Library will disappear. The scripts in these folders will be replaced by pre-compiled scripts (libraries). Any customization performed in the scripts in these folders will be lost.
If you have added or adapted scripts in these folders, please implement these changes using exit points. You can use the tool ScriptWizard to check this. If any functionality cannot be implemented using the existing exit points, please contact our helpdesk for support.
On the tab Services of the ITP/Server Administrator you will find a check box Use Libraries. Checking this check box will make ITP/Server use the functionality included in the ITP/Server libraries and ignore the scripts that implemented this functionality. You can use this option to test whether migrating your functionality succeeded. The facility to disable the library support will also be removed in the next major release.
