Loading files and folders

With this feature Microsoft Windows documents and folders can be loaded from a file system into the ITP/MDK Repository.

Files

Loaded files are copied to the ITP/MDK Repository database. Note that after the load there is no relation between the original files and their copies in the ITP/MDK Repository. In other words, altering one has no effect on the other. Your original folder structure in the Microsoft Windows file system will not be touched by the Load from process.

Folders

It is possible to load folders as part of a folder structure. This is done by checking the option Include subfolders. This makes it possible to load a folder, all its subfolders and all the files they contain. In this way (part of) a folder structure can be reconstructed in the ITP/MDK Repository.
