The ITP/Server Administrator window is divided in two columns, on the left the tree-view and to the right the tabs pane. Every tab on the tab pane has its own Help topic.
Navigation through all settings takes place by selecting a node in the tree-view. The tabs pane on the right will show all possible settings divided over one or more tabs. A node can be expanded if it shows a plus sign in front of its icon.
The top level is reserved for ITP/Server or rather the ITP/Document Processor Manager. This is the controlling level. On this level the settings for the interface to the ITP/Server and for logging and monitoring are set. All Document Processors controlled by this ITP/Server and the ITP/Document Processor Manager itself can be start/stopped on this level on the Advanced tab. This node will also tell you if something is wrong with the ITP/Server Document Processor Manager, the icon will change to:

A Script determines the functionality of a Service. This script is written in the ITP Script Language. A script can contain the ITP function that starts ITP and runs a model, producing a document. A Script Editor is provided to edit and create scripts. In this Editor the Reference Manual for the ITP Script Language is available.
Note
Scripts must be compiled and the ITP/Document Processors restarted before the scripts take effect.
This tree view node shows all machines, running ITP/Document Processors, which are controlled by ITP/Document Processor Manager. On this level the interface between the Document Processor Manager and the ITP/Document Processors is set.
A specific server is listed with its name. This end node in the tree stands for a specific server, a machine. A server runs one or more ITP/Document Processors. All Document Processors offer the same functionality e.g. those determined by the Services. Every ITP/Document Processor has an associated NT Service. For a server local folders can be set for the Log files and the temporary files. On this level individual ITP/Document Processors can be Start/Stopped and Restarted.
