National Language Support

ITP Runtime

ITP/Workstation and ITP/Server provide national language support for different languages on several levels:

• Main languages
  ITP/Workstation and ITP/Server support three main languages: English (Great Britain), Dutch (The Netherlands) and German (Germany). The Graphical User Interfaces, including the online help and error messages, are provided in these three languages.
• ITP Language (ITP-L)
  The ITP-L keywords and functions are provided in the three main languages. The names of all built-in functions differ between these three languages. The keywords of the German ITP-L are the same as the keywords of the English ITP-L. This was decided after consultation with our German user-base. The Dutch ITP-L has Dutch variants of the keywords. You cannot use the keywords and functions of the different languages interchangeably. Aia advises that the same ITP-L is used for all your Model Documents.

• Output language
  Some built-in functions, such as date or amount_in_words produce language dependent texts. ITP supports a number of different languages. Within your model, you can switch dynamically between output languages with the language_code function. The help text on the language_code function contains a complete table of the supported languages. Aia Software will continue to add support for additional languages as required. Please contact your ITP distributor the required language is not supported.

ITP DID Creation

The ITP/SDK is only available in English. However, the DIDs created with the ITP/SDK can be used in all other ITP products, in all available languages.

Documentation languages

The current policy on documentation languages is that Aia Software supplies:

• The complete Model Developer Help in Dutch, English, and German.
• The Integrator Manual and Administrator Manual only in English.
