There is one exception to the rule that the ITP/MDK Repository acts as a closed system. Whenever the client is unable to reach the ITP/MDK Repository server for saving a file, it will pop up an error message, and a file selector for your local system. This allows you to save your work in case of network trouble, or when the ITP/MDK Repository server has been stopped for some reason. One thing to remember in such a situation is that when you are able to reconnect to the ITP/MDK Repository again, you should first import these locally saved files.
