Oracle (version 8i and up)

Oracle databases are supported for version 8i and later.

We tested the following combinations:

• Oracle 8i with ODBC driver 8.01.07.810 from October 2003
• Oracle 9i with ODBC driver 9.2.0.5.4 from October 2003
• Oracle 10g with ODBC driver 10.2.0.1
• Oracle 11g with ODBC driver 10.2.0.1 (see note below)

Warning

Note the date of release of the driver for Oracle 8i; the drivers released on the first of October must be used. An earlier driver (8.01.07.000) caused repdump and repload to block, do not use this driver.

Note

Note that, that is not possible to use the Oracle 11g together with the ODBC driver 11. It is recommended to use a version 10 ODBC driver.
