A project is the starting point of all work in the ITP/MDK Repository. If you are the very first user of the ITP/MDK Repository, it probably does not yet contain any projects. If so, at least one new project has to be created before you can do any work.
Any user can create projects, but typically, this only needs to be done by a few knowledgeable users. This section is only relevant for people who actually need to create and configure projects.
Note that a user must be assigned the roles of Project manager and or Project creator to be able to configure or create projects. Refer to Roles and authorization for more information.
