The Administrator does not have to run on the same machine as ITP/Server, it can control ITP/Server remotely. In situations where the servers are physically difficult to access the Administrator can be installed on a workstation. Refer to the Installation Guide, section Installing the ITP/Server Administrator for more information.

If you want to manage ITP/Server installations that are installed on a remote machine, make sure that the Remote Registry Service on the remote machine is turned on. The Remote Registry Service can be found in your Services administration.
